RPI Design - interior designers in Essex and London
Randolphe Palmer Interior Design' is an Interior Design practice in Essex, situated on the London/Essex borders; the practice has been established since May 1990.
We are able to manage any interior design project from concept 'sketch' designs, through 'computer aided design' (CAD) planning, interior design, floor and wall treatments, bespoke joinery, furniture, lighting, ornaments, artwork and plants.
The practice has much experience of the planning & building control system and has worked with London Boroughs
and home counties district councils, on a regular basis, over the last fifteen years; (please visit www.rpidesign.co.uk for 'Successful Applications' and further planning & building control information). We work closely with Structural Engineers and Building Control Consultants on those projects requiring building work. (We can offer Quantity Surveying on all medium to large scale projects).
The Design Team
Lead by Randolphe Palmer, the team works from an initial client brief - through to concept sketches, CAD design/drawing stage to (where required) planning & building control, - to construction, landscaping, - interior design & detail, and finally interior decor.
The construction team
includes two main building companies, fitters and joiners and a plethora of tried and tested trade-companies. Our remit ranges from design & construction to fabrics, furniture and lighting. Bespoke interior design relies on
the sourcing of unusual producers and fabricators, some we have worked with are kept on our files, - others we source from in-house directories ('Barbour Index' etc) and the internet.
Randolphe Palmer Interior Design (RPI Design) carries full professional Indemnity Insurance on all projects.
Please see 'What does an interior designer do' for detailed information on what we do...

We work closely with architectural associates, Structural Engineers and Building Control Consultants on 'all' projects. We (or the client) would engage the services of a Quantity Surveyor on all medium to large scale projects.
